ShoeFixFinder collects information that visitors voluntarily submit through website forms. Depending on the form, this may include:

02 — Form processing
How form submissions are handled
Website forms transmit submitted information as JSON to our forms processing service:

The forms service runs through Cloudflare Workers. Submissions are processed and stored through Cloudflare infrastructure for review.
Our forms include a hidden honeypot field intended to help identify automated spam.
Sending a suggestion, correction, or message does not automatically add information to the public directory.
Types of submissions
- Shop suggestions: information about cobblers and their published services.
- Corrections: requests to review existing listing information.
- Listing claims: requests from shop representatives to review or correct a listing.
- Contact messages: questions or other communications sent through the website.
Submissions are treated as pending until reviewed. Information is not automatically published or accepted as verified.
03 — Public information
Information displayed in the directory
ShoeFixFinder publishes business information obtained from shops' own publicly available websites and published materials.
Public listing information may include:
- Shop name and location.
- Published repair services.
- Published menu items and prices.
- Business website and publicly published phone number.
- Published mail-in policies and turnaround information.
- Source links and information-check dates.
Publicly available business information is presented for directory and informational purposes. A visitor's private form submission is not automatically displayed publicly.
04 — Technical information
Website operation and infrastructure
ShoeFixFinder is a static website hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Its submission forms use Cloudflare Workers.
Cloudflare provides the infrastructure necessary to deliver the website and process form requests. Technical information may be processed as part of providing and securing these services.
At launch, the website does not include third-party analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising code.
Browser and network settings may independently retain information associated with visiting websites.

05 — Cookies
Cookies and tracking
ShoeFixFinder does not intentionally use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral tracking at launch.
The site is designed to operate without requiring visitors to create accounts or sign in.
Third-party infrastructure providers may use technical mechanisms necessary to operate and protect their services. Their practices are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Information submitted through our forms is used to review suggestions, corrections, listing claims, and contact requests.
We do not sell personal information submitted through our forms.
Information may be processed by Cloudflare as necessary to host the website and operate its submission infrastructure.
Public business information included in directory listings is visible to website visitors.

Submitted information is retained as necessary to process and review submissions and administer the directory.
We use the website's hosting and submission infrastructure to process information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Do not submit passwords, payment information, or other sensitive personal information through our forms.
