Affiliate Disclosure
How ShoeFixFinder handles affiliate relationships and compensated links.
ShoeFixFinder is an independent informational directory. This page explains how affiliate relationships may be used on the website and how they are disclosed to visitors.
01 — Current status
Affiliate links at launch
ShoeFixFinder does not currently have an assigned shoe-care affiliate program or active affiliate links.
A potential affiliate placement may be included in future service-guide content. No affiliate link will be published until an appropriate program has been selected and its participation requirements have been confirmed.
There are currently no assigned affiliate products or tracked affiliate links on this website.
02 — How affiliate links work
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link containing tracking information associated with a merchant or affiliate program.
If a visitor follows an affiliate link and completes a qualifying purchase, ShoeFixFinder may receive a commission or other compensation.
Any affiliate relationship used on this website will be disclosed clearly and conspicuously near the relevant link or recommendation.
03 — Editorial independence
How compensation relates to our content
Affiliate participation does not change the standards used to collect and verify shoe repair information.
Shop listings are based on information published by the shops themselves. Published prices are recorded with their source and checked date.
Affiliate compensation does not establish that a shop is qualified, guarantee a product's performance, or determine the accuracy of a published repair price.
We do not represent affiliate products as independently tested unless such testing has actually been performed.
04 — Advertising
Advertising and affiliate links are different
ShoeFixFinder may display third-party advertisements in the future. Advertising placements are separate from directory records and published repair-price information.
Advertisements and affiliate links will be identified appropriately when introduced.
An advertisement appearing on the website does not mean that ShoeFixFinder endorses the advertiser or guarantees its products or services.
